Jeanette (nee Pulver) Gutterridge Wright, 97, of Boone, Iowa passed away at Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone on December 11, 2019 where she had been a resident since 2008.
Jeanette was born on March 22, 1922 in Boone the daughter of Harry and Josephine (Wright) Pulver. On November 28, 1943 she married Floyd Gutterridge in Cooper, Iowa. After the death of Floyd in 1969 Jeannette married Hayverd (Bud) Wright of Woodward, Iowa in 1983. Jeanette graduated from Boone High School in 1941. Among a variety of jobs over the years, Jeanette’s favorite was as a Librarian at Lincoln Elementary School.
Jeannette was a charter member of the Boone Saddle Club, a lifetime member of the Boone Central Christian Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Gutterridge in 1969, husband Hayverd Wright in 2002, daughter Barbra Bowers in 2000 and brother Edward Pulver in 1973.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Nohe of Mission Viejo, California; son Jim Gutterridge of Boone, Iowa; Granddaughters: Amy Feliz; Kim (Jef) Fernley; Kelli (Dave) Coggins and Amity Feliz. Eight Great Grandchildren, Four Great-Great Granddaughters, step sons: Brad (Dawn) Wright; Robert (Ana) Wright; Step grandchildren Ben, Kat, Brianna, and multiple step great grandchildren.
A graveside service will take place at a later date at Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone.
