Brenda Sue Toothman Parker, 78, of Hope Hill, Mannington, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2109 at her residence. She was born January 21, 1941 in Fairview, a daughter of the late Kenneth Matthew and Louise T. Toothman.

Brenda was employed at Pleasant Acres Personal Care as an aide/cook and also at Drulane Industries and Revell’s Campground. She was a member of the Oakhurst Church of Christ in Farmington.

Survivors include her husband, Willis Carroll Parker, whom she married July 27, 1957; 4 daughters: Sheryl (Howard) Carr, Glenville, Joyce (Delford) Barker, Rachel, Kimberly Parker, PA, and Tina (Guy) Sole, Martinsburg; an adopted son: Kevin J. Parker, Fairmont; 2 brothers: Larry K. (Glenda) Toothman, TN and Murle (Alberta) Toothman, East Run; 15 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a son-in-law: Shawn Bridges.

Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral Home, 3171 Husky Highway, Farmington, on Monday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Christ at Oakhurst with Evangelist Craig Matheny officiating. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery at Farmington.
