Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 16, 2019 at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Maynard with Pastor Julie Ahrens officiating.
Visitation: 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Monday at the funeral home
Interment: Dunham Grove Cemetery, Randalia, Iowa.

Barbara Lee Tyler was born June 5, 1944 in Oelwein, Iowa, the daughter of Isaac Wesley and Geneva (Gray) Tyler. She was raised in rural Arlington where she received her education at a country school. Barbara was united in marriage to Richard Lee Jensen on April 19, 1959 in Fairbank, Iowa. Barbara was a longtime Randalia resident. She had worked as a C.N.A. at the Fayette County Home and at Maple Crest Manor in Fayette, retiring in 2002.
Barbara was a member of the Randalia United Methodist Church. She was an avid Iowa Hawkeye sports fan. Christmas was the highlight of her year. She left her Christmas decorations up in her home all year long. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, word search puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her 4 daughters: Darlene Piper of Randalia, Shawn (Joseph) Duffy of Fairbank, Susan Kientopf and fiancé: Bruce Osterloh of Camanche and Jolene Murphy of Oelwein; son: Ed (Lupe) Jensen of Randalia; 18 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 3 siblings: Les (Judy) Tyler of Oelwein, Gerald (Shirley) Tyler of Lexington, South Carolina and Don (Mary) Tyler of Garnavillo; sister-in-law: Nancy Tyler of Independence; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on April 1, 1995; son-in-law: Roy Piper, Jr.; sister in infancy: Darlene Marie Tyler and brother: Raymond Tyler.
