Paul B. Castillo Jr.

Passed away Monday, December 2, 2019 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, at the age of 66.

Paul was born on May 29, 1953 to Ernestina and Paul G. Castillo Sr. in Junction, TX.

Paul was a longtime resident of Fredericksburg, TX until he retired and moved to Tennessee to be a fulltime grandpa. Paul was known for his beautiful masonry work and tile work. Paul will be remembered for his easy smile and big heart, strong faith in the Lord and devotion to his family.

Paul is survived by four children and their spouses, five grandchildren and eleven siblings: Jennifer Sparks and husband Michael, Murfreesboro, TN; Alexandra Christakos and husband Nicholas, Fairview, TX; Matthew Castillo and wife Jennifer, Hillsborough, NJ; Candice Castillo, San Antonio, TX;

Grandchildren; Keegan and Joshua Sparks; Ethan, Estella, and Dagny Christakos

Brothers and Sisters and Spouses: Lydia Ozuna and husband Gregorio, Fredericksburg, TX; Carmen Martinez, Fredericksburg, TX; Lucy Sanchez, Fredericksburg, TX; John Castillo and wife Gloria, Kerrville, TX; Ofelia Fuentes and husband Joel, Bangs, TX; Rita Sanchez and husband Luis, Kerrville, TX; Lupe Straube and husband David, Kingsland, TX; Carol Moldenhauer and husband Roger, Fredericksburg, TX; Clem Castillo, Fredericksburg, TX; Violand Weed, Fredericksburg, TX; Raymond Castillo and wife Eva, Fredericksburg, TX

Paul is proceeded in the death by both his parents and his eldest son, Paul Richard.

Family will greet friends from 9 am to 12 pm on Thursday December 12th at Schaetter’s Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service will be Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 12 noon in the chapel of Schaetter’s Funeral Home in Fredericksburg, TX with Rev. Jim Harnan officiating.

Graveside services and interment will follow in the Old St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of one’s choice.
