Gwendolyn Elouise "Ellie" Miller, 74, passed from this life on December 11, 2019, in Yellville, Arkansas, where she had resided for several years at Community Compassion Center of Yellville. She was born in Lepanto, Arkansas, and lived most of her adult life in Blytheville, Arkansas. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and was the widow of Ralph Van Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Knapp and Mary Emma Knapp, and her sisters and brothers: Juanita Whittingham, Aileen Wheeler, Novella Williams, Raybern Knapp, and Frank E. Knapp. She is survived by her children Rev. Matt and Rhonda Daniels of Beebe, Arkansas; Rev. Bryan and Kristi Johnson of Brooklyn, New York; and Jared and Connie Miller of Gosnell, Arkansas. She was beloved by her grandchildren Gwendolyn Daniels, Hannah Travis, Morgan Vidalis, Grace Johnson, Michael Miller, Matthew Miller, and Kaylee Miller. She is also survived by her brothers Nolan Knapp, Donald Knapp, and Joe Knapp, and their spouses and children. She loved and cherished her Miller and Knapp families.

Mrs. Miller loved working with children and senior citizens. A teacher at heart, she worked as a public school employee and volunteered as a Sunday school and Vacation Bible School teacher for many years. She was blessed to join her friends in volunteering with hospice.
