Francis married Janice Faye GATES on July 10, 1965 in Montgomery County, Alabama and again on December 27, 1973 in Montgomery County, Alabama.

Francis Earl Wilson age 76 a former resident of Thomasville, AL went to his heavenly home on December 12, 2019 after a short illness. He moved to Grand Bay, AL many years ago and this was the place that he called home. He was born April 21, 1943 in Whatley, AL to Albert Bruce and Lois Powell Wilson. He was a former millwright and served in the Alabama National Guard for six years as a Military Policeman.

He is survived by his daughter, Larramie Wilson; grandsons, Hayden Wilson (Rachel), Austin Wilson, Brady Wilson, and Lucas Wilson; granddaughters, Courtney Wilson, Johnnie Wilson, Sarah Wilson, Nikki Wilson, and Lindsey Wilson; four great grandchildren; brother, Buddy Wilson; sisters, Barbara Pugh and Jane Bishop (Mike); and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Faye Gates Wilson; son, Darren Wilson; infant son, Marcus Wilson; both parents and eight siblings.

Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Monday, December 16, 2019 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Rev. Zack Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville, AL.
