WINSTON-SALEM, NC. - Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 1:00 PM in New Hope Methodist Church, (5125 Shattalon Dr. Winston Salem, NC) for Robin Smith Lee, 53, who died after a brief illness on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette LA surrounded by her family.
Reverend Dr. Suzanne G. Michael will officiate the services.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Bobby Lee; one daughter, Blakeleigh McEwan-Bagwell and her husband, John; one son, Micheil McEwan; her father, Jim Smith; one brother, Michael Edward Smith and wife Raé; and her aunt and uncle, Tony and Carol Everhart.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Vestal Smith.
Robin Smith Lee was a native of Winston Salem, North Carolina and resident of Lafayette, Louisiana. She loved animals, especially her horses and her dogs. Robin rode show horses as a child and continued to ride throughout her life. She enjoyed the outdoors at the ranch, where she was known as the "camp cook." Family was very important to Robin, and she cherished her time with her husband and children. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend and will be dearly missed by all.
