He was born in Mifflin Township, Dauphin County to the late Paul L. and Lottie (Enders) Lenker.
Floyd was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was the retired Owner / Operator of Floyd Lenker's Blue Ribbon Meats at the Broad Street Market, Harrisburg.
Floyd enjoyed gardening and was an avid cook and baker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Floyd L. Lenker, Jr.; and, two grandsons, Floyd D. and Glenn E. Hendershot.
Floyd is survived by his daughter: Luann Hendershot and husband David of Harrisburg; his granddaughter: Nichole Hendershot of Camp Hill; and, his brother: Robert Lenker of Millersburg.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, December 16, 2019 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
