She was the daughter of Lewis and Zona Canfield. On 15 May 1910 Maud married S.J. Stevens in Congo, Saline county, Arkansas. On 20 Dec. 1935 she married William S Wells in Hoquiam, WA. She is buried on the grave of John Clo McAllister, son of her sister Christina, and next to the grave of her brother Clyde Livingston Canfield.
