She was born in Caldwell County on April 28, 1956 to the late Collis Coffey and Eloise “Granny” Penny.
Judy was also preceded in death by her step-father of 35 years, Roy Penny.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Lee; brother, Kenneth Woodruff and sister, Shirley “Nanny” Borders.
Judy is survived by her brothers, Darrel Coffey and wife, Rachel; Dan Coffey and wife, Lynn; Dale Woodruff; and James Hodge and wife, Christine; and other numerous nieces and nephews.
Judy was of Baptist faith.
A memorial service for Judy will be held at a later date.
