Linda Kay Laird, 62, of El Dorado, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital. Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal Church. Burial will follow in Florence Cemetery, Florence.

She was born Aug. 21, 1942, at Newton, the daughter of Charles S. and Elizabeth G. (Savage) Laird. She graduated from El Dorado High School and attended Kansas University for one year. She was administrative manager for Goldsmith, Inc., in Dallas, Texas, for 18 years. She retired in 2001 when she returned to El Dorado. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.

Survivors include: mother, Elizabeth Laird of El Dorado; two brothers and their spouses, Stanley S. and Linda Laird of Lenexa and Steven and Marilyn Laird of Emporia; a sister and her husband, Patty L. and Rodger Arst of Wichita; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorials in her memory for the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation may be left at Carlson Funeral Home who has the arrangements.
