Funeral services for Murlene Honer, 89, of Cleveland, TX will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 12:00 PM in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with Pastor Roderick Washington officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 PM. at the funeral home.
Murlene was born on September 3, 1928 to Silas and Viva V. (Nash) Hollis in Burke, TX and passed away on October 9, 2017 in Shenandoah, TX. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Murlene was preceded in death by her son, Shannon Brimer and her husband, Wilbert J. Honer. She is survived by her loving family: daughters, Darlene Albonetti and husband Jack, and Diana Whorley and husband Dale; sons, Ronald Brimer and wife Sandy, JM Brimer, Nelson Brimer and wife Dee, and Anthony Brimer and wife Phyllis. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends also survive.
Pallbearers: Dylan Whorley, Hunter Whorley, Chris Whorley, Steven Greenlee, Rob Greenlee and John White.
