Mrs. Edith Blackmer
Mrs. Edith Blackmer, 69, 2327 South Pacific Street, died Tuesday morning in a local hospital.
Born Oct. 8, 1893 at Mountain View, Alberta, Canada, she was married to George W. Blackmer May 16, 1914 in Pocatello. The couple resided in Rockland until the early 1930s, when they moved to Eagle, where they farmed until Mr. Blackmer's retirement in 1956, when they moved to Garden City. She was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. Leila Freudenthaler and Mrs. Sarah Hardin, both of Boise, and Mrs. Zella Smith, Council; three sons, Harold Blackmer, Portland, Ore. and Gilbert and Bertle Blackmer, both of Boise; a sister, Mrs. Anne Weatherford, Rockland; a brother, George A. Pease, Rockland, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, George and Frank Blackmer.
Services will be announced by Relyea Chapel.
