She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Doris (Foss) Collins and wife of the late Carl N. Hamilton Jr. She was a graduate of Needham High School and worked for John Hancock Insurance in Boston where she met Carl. Carolyn was a member of the Order of the Rainbow Girls for 20 years in Needham MA. In addition to her husband Carl and her parents she was predeceased by her brother, David Collins, her brothers in laws, Richard and Kenneth Hamilton, sister-in-law, Barbara Hamilton and brother in law, Robert Boucher. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Hamilton) Mazzie and her husband Tim of Mashpee, MA formally of Ashland, Gary Hamilton and his wife Pam of Braselton, GA, and Curtis Hamilton of Coventry, RI; grandchildren, Matthew, Taylor and Megan Mazzie; Ashley and Brianna Hamilton; Elizabeth, Michael, Justin and Jordan Hamilton; and three great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Judith Boucher and Dorothy Hamilton.
