Ralph Bruce Webb
APRIL 15, 1946 – DECEMBER 10, 2019

Ralph Bruce Webb, 73, of Kingsport, peacefully went to be with The Lord on December 10th, 2019, surrounded by his family.

Cancer may have robbed Ralph of the last year of his life, but with his courage and strength, he won the battle and is now home with his Savior.

Ralph retired from the Kingsport Fire Department as Deputy Chief after 32 years of dedicated service. He took great pride in his job and serving his community, while making lifelong friends and memories along the way. Ralph loved his family dearly and enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow up. Ralph loved to fish and had many memories with his close friends while doing so. He was a faithful member of Midfield Freewill Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for many years.

Ralph was preceded in death by his father, John Webb.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 52 years, Betty Webb; daughter, Deanna DeVault and husband, Tony; grandson, Tyler DeVault and wife Kelsey; granddaughter, Haley Millsap and husband Nathan; sister, Barbara Davis and son, Chad Davis; as well as extended family members and many other special friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 12th, 2019 at East Lawn Funeral Home from 5-7pm. A funeral service will follow at 7pm with Dr. David Luster and Pastor Jesse Hartgrove officiating.

A Graveside Service will be conducted on Friday, December 13th, 2019. Everyone who wishes to attend the Graveside Service is asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:45am.

The Webb family would like to extend a special thank you to Ballad Health Hospice and all the doctors and nurses that cared for Ralph during this long journey.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions to American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org/involved/donate.html) or 508 Princeton Road, Ste. 102, Johnson City, TN 37601.
