Anne was always an industrious young lady working while she attended high school at odd jobs, eventually selling Avon products and becoming a successful Real Estate Broker. She fell in love with her high school sweetheart Russ Gerdes in her sophomore year at Turlock High. They were married for 61 years. Russ and Anne enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Canada. She always looked forward to a family gatherings, lots of baking and homemade ice cream. Russ and Anne were members of the All Seasons RV Club and First Presbyterian Church in Turlock. Anne was baptized at First Presbyterian church of Turlock at 3 years of age and was a lifelong member.
Anne gave birth to her beloved son Dale. Dale was a devoted son and spent much of the last decade attending to the needs of his mother who passed into eternity on December 5th of this year. Anne is survived by her son Dale and was preceded in death by her beloved husband Russ, and her brothers and sisters.
There is a celebration of life memorial for Anne at the First Presbyterian Church of Turlock 2619 N. Berkeley Ave. at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.
Anne will be missed by so many in the community that loved her, yet she is now joyfully reunited with Russ and many family and friends who had gone before her to their eternal home.
