Mr. William Oliver Beasley, son of Aaron and Annie Pinkston Beasley, passed away December 9, 2019. William leaves his wife, Faye Mills Beasley; three sons, Michael (Donna) Beasley of Brighton, Sammy (June) Beasley of Covington, and Keith (Ginger) Beasley of Brighton; seven grandchildren, Erik Beasley, Whitney Sullivan, Tommy Beasley, Anna Beasley, Lesley Hopkins, Carl Faulkner, and Clay Beasley; he also leaves eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Aaron Beasley of Covington, Wayne Beasley of Covington, and Walker Beasley of Munford; and two sisters, Elizabeth Smith of Covington and Anne Hensley of Colorado.

William Beasley was a veteran of World War II, he served as alderman of Covington for twenty years and vice mayor for six years. William was a life long builder and business man of Tipton County ending his working career as a guard for the Charms Candy Company at the age on ninety in 2017.

William, his father, and brother Aaron built Central Christian Church in Covington, TN. He went on to serve as deacon and elder of the church until his health prevented him from continuing his work.

William was a 32nd degree mason of Duham Lodge 150. He was also a Scottish Rite mason, a York Rite, and past master.

William was preceded in death by his parents; his infant son, Phillip Carey; one half brother and two half sisters.

Visitation for Mr. Beasley will be held on Wednesday, December 11th, from 12:00 - 2:00 at the Maley-Yarbrough Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in R. H. Munford Cemetery with Rev. Tom Ralstin officiating.
