Rachel O. Johnson was born Sept. 19, 1927 in Midvale, ID to James and Emma Kilborn and passed away Nov. 21, 2019 at an assisted living facility in Payette, ID. Graveside services will be held 2 pm, Monday, Dec. 2nd at Eastside Cemetery, Midvale, ID with Robert Cook conducting. Services are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel.
She married Forrest “Buster” Gerulf on Sept. 2, 1943 in Payette, ID. They were blessed with five children; Steven, Darlyne, Dennis, Randy, and Robert. They lived in Grangeville, Council and finally resided in Fruitland, ID in 1964. Forrest “Buster” passed away in 1972.
Rachel married Alan Johnson in 1975. She was blessed with Alan’s three children; Bradley, Craig, and Bill. Alan passed away in 1999.
Rachel loved reading, family, and her garden and flowers.
She is survived by Steve and Barbara Gerulf, Darlyne Johnson, Dennis and Jeanette Gerulf, Robert Gerulf, Bradley and Tina Johnson, Bill and Carol Johnson; 25 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Forrest “Buster” Gerulf and Alan Johnson; her sons Randy Gerulf and Craig Johnson.
