Cynthia Sharon Little - Mrs. Cynthia Sharon Little, 49 of Charlotte, NC passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Presbyterian Hospital. She was born in Snow Hill, NC on November 30, 1961. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Ella Barfield. Cynthia moved to Charlotte, NC to attend The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, which she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. She worked for Daymon Worldwide as a Quality Assurance Lab Technician. She also was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Darrel Little; step-daughter, LeChez Little, and a son, Jalen Little of the home. She is also survived by five sisters, Doris Burgess(Cain, Sr.), Ester Carr both of Greenville, NC, Edna Lee of Kinston, NC, Carolyn Barfield of Wilson, NC, and Tresia Cureton(Steve) of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Robert Barfield(Linda) of Snow Hill, NC; mother-in-law, Sandra Oglesby of Charlotte, NC; two brothers-in-law, Booker T. Oglesby, III of Charlotte, NC and Ronald Oglesby(Nicole) of Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Service is Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 1:00 PM. The body will lie in state one hour before the service from 12 Noon-1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the St. Mark's United Methodist Family Life Center Campaign, 917 Clanton Rd., Charlotte, NC 28217. Long & Son Mortuary Service is serving the Little Family.
