Billie F. (Sliger) McDonald, age 90, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019. She was born in September of 1929 to the late Will and Lottie (Allen) Sliger in Cedar Hill, Texas. She loved her arts and crafts, having had a ceramic shop in down town Ferris in the 70's and 80's, she also did bookkeeping for various companies. She enjoyed cooking for her family's Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday dinners. Her and her late husband Claude loved taking over the road bus tours all throughout the United States, visiting all 50 States.
She is preceded by her parents; husband Claude McDonald and daughter Kathy Parrot.
She is survived by her dedicated children: Billy and wife Janice McDonald of Fort Worth, Ed and wife Shelley McDonald of Grapevine and Tommy McDonald of Ferris; grandchildren: Shane, Mandy, Clint, Shay, Cade, William, Cody, Shelly, Shawna and T.J.; great-grandchildren: Gage, Rider, Chelsea, Maddie and ; brother Johnny Sliger.
Visitation will be 10 AM Friday, December 13, 2019 at Green Funeral Home
Funeral Service will be 11 AM Friday, December 13, 2019 at Green Funeral Home with burial to follow at Ferris Memorial Park North. Pastor Steve Hamm Officiating.
