David Edward Fletcher, Jr., of Marlow, was born on September 11, 1961, in Carnegie, Oklahoma to David Edward and Margaret Marie (Sawyer) Fletcher. He made his journey to Heaven on Monday, December 9, 2019, with his family by his side. He was 58.

Funeral services are scheduled in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with pastor of Calvary Baptist Church-Marlow, officiating. Interment will follow in the Marlow Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

David was a 1980 graduate of Cyril High School. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He married the love of his life, Gayla Lynn Anthony, on June 5, 2013, in Lawton.

He enjoyed fishing and playing pool. NASCAR and westerns were his favorite television programs. He had even become an OU fan recently. He loved being around people, especially his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara McNight.
