Donna Faye Worley, 64, of Chickamauga went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. She had lived most of her life in Chickamauga and had lived ten years on a farm on Sand Mountain, AL. Mrs. Worley was an active member of Valley View Baptist Church in Flintstone, GA and she had worked for Shaw Industries in Lafayette for over 25 years, retiring in 2014. Mrs. Worley was a devout Christian, a wonderful and faithful wife, and a devoted mother. She loved traveling to the beach and her passions in life were her family, spending time with her grandbabies, gardening, canning, enjoying her flowers, and cooking.
Mrs. Worley was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nada Young; and brothers, Melvin J. Young, II and Steve H. Young.
Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, Wayne Worley; three children, Susan Fox of Atlanta, GA, Kevin Worley of Chickamauga, GA, and Angela Powell of Chickamauga, GA; twin brother, Donald Ray Young of Henegar, AL; brother, William “Billy” Young of Henegar, AL; sister, Gloria Parrott of Rossville, GA; five grandchildren, Ethan Powell, Nikki Fox, Colby Worley, Mason Powell, and Logan Fox; and several nieces and nephews.
