SARAH HARRIS was born in August 1700 in Hartford, Hartford, Colony of Connecticut, British Colonial America. She was the daughter of William Harris (1667/68-1759) and Elizabeth Bronson (abt. 1677-1733). She was baptized on Aug. 4, 1700 in Wethersfield, Hartford, Connecticut.

Sarah Harris married Joseph Martin on Aug. 18, 1718. Joseph was born on Nov. 15, 1691 in Woodbury, Litchfield, Connecticut, British Colonies of North America. He was the son of William Seaborn Martin (1653-1715) and Abigail Nichols (1663-1734).

Sarah and Joseph raised their family in Woodbury, Connecticut.
