She was born May 2, 1946, to Dewey Lee Hines and Ethel Mae (Cowart) Hines in San Antonio, Texas.
She married Steven Peter Adams on January 4, 1969, in Las Cruises New Mexico and celebrated 50 years of marriage in January 2019.
Ella was a full-time mother and wife, creating the most loving home while raising her children through their school years. Taking a job with the Mabank School System while her youngest finished his high school years. As an empty nester, she took a position in the records department of the JCPenney -Aegon Insurance Company located in Plano Texas until her retirement.
Well known for her delicious dishes made with love, retirement allowed her to continue to share her gift with her family and friends who savored her creations to the fullest.
Ella was a breast cancer survivor and pronounced cancer free in 2016. Ella and Steven enjoyed their retirement together and loved each other to the fullest every day. A continual inspiration to all who witnessed their love for one another over the past 51 years together.
Ella is survived by her husband, Steven Adams; a brother, Roger Hines and his wife Bonnie; a sister, Lenora (Hines) Uhl; a brother-in-law Christian Adams; a daughter, Ethel (Adams) Olague and her husband Edgar; a son Eugene Adams; her three grandchildren, Anthony Olague, Isabella Olague and Victor Adams; nieces, Tawnia Clymer and Heather Harris; and nephews, Charles Hill, Preston Hines, Kevin Uhl and Mark Uhl.
