The death occurred at Peace River Municipal hospital September 21 of Gerhardt Oscar Aune, Deer Hill. Born at Drumheller, Alberta, in 1908, Mr Aune moved to the Deer Hill district, north of Fairview, in 1930, residing there since that time.
His passing is mourned by his mother, Mrs Sophie Aune, Deer Hill; six brothers: Arthur, Albert, Sigwardt, Henry, Clarence, Gordon, all at home; four sisters: Mrs Ruth Dodd and Mrs Lillian Dodd of Olds, Alberta, Thora of Fairview, Mrs Doris Coon of Hines Creek.
The funeral will be held at Fairview, the date to be announced. Internment will be made in Waterhole Cemetery.
