He was employed with the Georiga Department of Corrections for 34 years and retired in 2010 from the Georgia State Prison as a Transfer Officer. He is survived by a loving wife Barbara Johnson, two sons Sherod and Taurean Johnson, his granddaughter Sequria Johnson, brother in law Michael (Brenda) Johnson, sisters, Linda Johnson, Regina Johnson William, Dionne Colwell, Phyllis Allen and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
