Born raised and resided in Bayonne, he lived in Monmouth Beach and was a snow bird to Delray Beach, FL for many years and lived 20 years in Lakewood before moving recently to Albrightsville, PA.
He served in the Air Force from 1955-1958. He was a Boiler Maker for 45 years and retired as a Business Agent for the Boilermaker's Union Local #28 in Bayonne, in 1995. He enjoyed fishing, all sports and was an avid Notre Dame and NY Giants fan.; watched old war movies and was a member of the St Vincent Drum & Bugle Corps in Bayonne.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Helen (Adelson), sons, Patrick of Bloomsburg, Daniel of Ft Collins, CO and Jeffrey of Albrightsville, PA and 8 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation is Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Thursday at 10:30 am at St Mary of the Lake Church, Lakewood with interment to follow at Brigadier Gen Wm C Doyle NJ Veteran's Cemetery, Arneytown.
