Services for Myrtie L. Cain, 89, of Diboll, were conducted Monday in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Van Harris officiating and burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Cain was born Oct. 1, 1889, in Athens (Henderson County) and died Saturday in Diboll.
A resident of Angelina County since 1919, she was a Methodist.
Survivors: two sons, E. J. of Houston and Sam of Kennard; daughter, Mrs. Mildred Fleming of Lufkin: 24 grandchildren: 64 great-grandchildren; 7great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers: J. T. Hambrick, Robert Harris, Jack Langford, LeRoy Cain, Doyle Bishop, Virgil Harvard.
