Phyllis was a graduate of Shelbyville High School and had recently attended her 60th class reunion. She received her associate's degree from Indiana Business College and worked for the Marion County Home in the pharmacy department. When she returned to Indiana, she enjoyed a wonderful career with Big Lots prior to her retirement.
Phyllis was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to cook and was the "Original Cake Boss", always baking unique cakes for her family. She loved to watch the Hallmark Channel and The Food Network as well as coloring in her adult coloring books and collecting angels. More than anything she enjoyed her family.
She is survived by her children, Karen (Richard) Willits and Ricky Robinson; grandchildren, Kelli (Tyler) Edon, Brooke Willits, Amber Robinson, Alisha Robinson, Ashley (Joshua) Richards, Nathan Robinson and 6 great grandchildren.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Samuel; son, Brian and siblings, Jack Hall, Don Hall and Beverly (Jean) Hubbard.
Friends may call 4-7 pm, Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral service 10 am, Friday, December 13th at the funeral home with Pastor Ryan McCarty officiating. Burial immediately following at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
