Myrtle May Scott Wilson lifelong resident of Maury County, died Monday November 25, 2019 at Life Care Center of Columbia.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Eddie Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wilson was born on December 2, 1927 to her parents in Maury County and has lived in Maury County all her life. In 1945, she married Charles Elbert Wilson who preceded her in death on April 14, 1997. She worked at C.P.S. for many years, and later in life she worked at The Green Thumb.

She is survived by her children, Charlie (Janice) Wilson, Albert Wayne Wilson, and Janice (John) Lynch; grandchildren, Carlton Wilson, Jimmy Wilson, Casey Wilson, Jennifer (Peyton) Robertson, Misty (Kenneth) Franklin, and Candace (Cody) Tordy; great grandchildren, Tyler Robertson, Adalyn Robertson, Amber Key Franklin, Kenya Marie Franklin, Alexander Wayne Sanders, and Damian Joe Sanders.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her eight siblings and great granddaughter, Riley Lynn Ann Tordy.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
