Cathy was born on October 27, 1949 in Ada, OK to Alvia T. Lamb Sr. and Majorie J. Lamb (Raper). She loved her family without question, slowly allowing God to be her leader. In her spare time she had a lot of passion in taking care of her yard, moreso her rose bushes and flowers. She taught her family to love God first and all good things will follow.
Being a God fearing woman she fought and prayed for what she believed in the most, her family. In her later years she got to share her love of being a caretaker, that she didn't do it just for her spare time, but to take care of someone's loved one as her own.
Cathy met the love of her life in the summer of '83, which turned into 38 ½ glorious years of togetherness. They raised 4 beautiful girls. She was blessed to see 8 grandkids with one more on the way, not including 3 bonus ones she loved just the same. A greater blessing, she thanked God for every single day, seven great grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Aliva and Majorie Lamb; brother, Alvia Lamb Jr; father-in-law, Carl Stone; and one grandson. She is survived by her husband, four girls, 6 grandchildren, great-grandkids, sisters-in-laws, mother in-law, and a handful of nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held on December 15, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at Bonham Community Church; 347 FM 273, Bonham, TX 75418.
