Eddie Lee Hall was born to the union of Willie and Cynthia Hall on September 6, 1929. Both parents, six brothers and one son, Brian Landers Hall, preceded him in death.

Eddie Lee Hall departed this life on Thursday, December 5, 2019.

Eddie attended High School in Tellulah, Louisiana and later, he faithfully served his country by joining the United States Army.

Eddie accepted Christ at an early age. He became a part of a gospel quartet that traveled throughout the South. While attending St. Paul Baptist Church in Helen, Arkansas he served as the Sunday School Superintendent for many years.

In 1969, at the age of forty, Eddie loaded -up his family and moved to Kansas City, Missouri. He started working for J.C. Nichol's and Company and the Dental School. Using the skills he received while working both jobs, he started his own carpet business by adding a janitorial and upholstery service.

In 1970, while living in Kansas City, Missouri, he united with the Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral care of the late Rev. Emanuel A. Johnson. Although he was working two jobs, he still made sure his family received a strong foundation in Christ. Eddie was a member of the Mass Choir and the Male Chorus.
