Kenneth “Don” Donnell Craven, 92, passed away at Moses Cone Hospital on Friday, December 6, 2019.

Don was born in Guilford County to the late Kenneth Cecil Craven and Willie Keck Craven. He faithfully served his country in the US Navy, WWII. He was a member of Brown Summit United Methodist Church and the
Midway –Monroeton VFW Post 8297. He was a brick mason for many years and was an avid bass fisherman. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Erlene Simpson Craven; and an infant son.

Survivors include his daughter, Judith Craven Sparks and husband, Rick; grandchildren: Kevin Cochran and wife, Malisa, Keith Cochran and wife, Sandy, Kyle Cochran and wife, Lynn; great grandchildren, Sean, Sarah, Zack, Jake, and Jamie Cochran.

Memorials may be made to the Midway-Monroeton VFW Post 8297 or Fairgrove UMC Food Pantry, c/o Bobby Jones, 321 Van Hook Road, Reidsville, NC 27320.
