"SPRINGFIELD - A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. June 16 at Azalea Lanes bowling alley in Brookings for Richard Lee "Dick" Clark of Springfield, who died May 5 of cancer. He was 70.
Clark was born May 20, 1936, in San Jose, Calif., to Archie and Madge Lamb Clark. He and his wife, Linda, were married in 1969.
He served in the U.S. Army in Korea, then served as a reserve officer for the Los Gatos Police Department. He worked for Southern Pacific Railroad in Eugene as a special agent and engineer, retiring in 2001.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Candace Barrios of San Jose; a son, Richard II of San Jose; three stepchildren: Deborah Reedal, Michael Smith and Ron Smith; and eight grandchildren.
Arrangements by Rest-Haven Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene. Remembrances to the American Cancer Society."
