Mr. Johnson, Jr. age 84, of Moreauville, died Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
Survivors include daughter, Johnnie Johnson Thomas of Mansura; son, Judge Donald T. Johnson of Woodworth; three brothers, Roman Johnson, Vernon Johnson and Bernard Johnson all of Moreauville; two sisters, Hattie Mae Blackman and Elaine Johnson both of Moreauville; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Georgia Alexander Johnson, mother, Virgie Jacobs Johnson, father, Simon Jules Johnson, Sr., brother, Sterling Johnson.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Escude' Funeral Home, Moreauville, Wednesday, July 18, 2007. A rosary/wake service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2007.
Pallbearers will be Myles J. Johnson, Kevin T. Sylvain, Paul Pierre, Stanley Pierre, Lonnie Rondell Bridges and Leonard Ford.
Honorary pallbearers will be Conrad Meyer, Paul Johnson, Carmen Blackman, Clyde Blackman, Rodney Antoine and Vernon Antoine.
