She was born February 16, 1916. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, and owner of Pierce's Grocery in Tar Hill, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Pierce; and her parents, George and Zona Clark Rogers.
She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Aubrey of Big Clifty, Ky., Janet White of Louisville, Ky., and Alma Embry of Caneyville, Ky.; five sons, John, Raymond and Joseph Donald Pierce, all of Louisville, Carl Pierce of North Carolina, and George Pierce of Bardstown, Ky. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, a whole bunch of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the St. Paul Cemetery.
