Herman Ladrone Davis, 82, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away December 6, 2019. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. at Goodman Oaks Church of Christ (1700 Goodman Road, Southaven, MS) with a funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Olive Branch. Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Davis was born on October 30, 1937 in Memphis, TN. He was a retired employee of Kellogg's in Memphis after many years of service in the packing maintenance department. Herman was a faithful member of Goodman Oaks Church of Christ and enjoyed quail hunting, his bird dogs, sports and most of all, his family.
Herman Davis leaves behind his son, Brett (Dana) Davis; daughter, Cheri (Charlie) Coffelt; grandchildren, Chad Coffelt (Jordan Alyse), Carly Coffelt, Chelsea Davis, Cole Davis, Molly Davis, Hayden Davis, Madelyn Davis, Marshall (Lucy) Davis and great-grandchild, Quinn Coffelt.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by wife, Jo Ann Davis, his parents, Pauline and John Davis and son, Tim Davis.
