Francis T. “Futz” Stevens 87, Gallitzin died December 5, 2019 at his home. Born September 10, 1932 in Lilly the son of the late Joseph and Geraldine (Moyer) Stevens.

Preceded in death by a daughter Geraldine “Geri” Woleslagle, grandson Gregory J. Vinglas Jr., brother Ronald “Pigeon” and sister Janet. Survived by his wife the former Mary Larson whom he married July 2, 1955 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Gallitzin, daughters Debra “Debbie” (Steve” Vinglas, Christine (Dave) Klisiewicz and Francine (Doug) Burk, son-in-law Robert “Jim” Woleslagle, grandchildren, Scott (Bethany), Stephanie, Josh (Jena),Mark (Amanda), Michelle (John), Amanda (Jesse), Nicole (Anthony “TJ), Tashia (Derek Rowles) and Bryonna, great-grandchildren, Bentley, Addisyn, Wyatt, Rowan, Reagan, Jordan, Zachary, Makenna, Ariella, Nicholas, Nathan, Noah, Makayla, Isabella, Sophia, Juliana, Isaac, Aaliyah, Sierra and Kyle brother Robert “Murph” and sister Betty Michelangelo and numerous nieces and nephews.

Worked as a Track Supervisor for Penn Central and Conrail Railroads retiring in 1985. Army Veteran. Member of Gallitzin American Legion. Futz enjoyed collecting cars, Hunting, 4 wheeling, his garage and being outside and spending time with his family.

Member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Tuesday the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 pm Monday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin where a vigil service will be held Monday. Military Rites by Gallitzin American Legion and other local military organizations.
