He graduated from Wilson High School at Wilson,OK.,in 1966, served in the Navy, then worked for Cities Service Oil Company, retiring in 1999 after 30 years of service and was a former associate pastor and counselor at Faith Baptist Church.
He died at the age of 55, March 3, 2004 in Bowie,TX.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara "Jo"; two stepdaughters, Stephanie Spencer, and Cheri Schutte; his father, J.W.; two brothers, Lavoy Carlile and W.M. Carlile; a sister, Yvetta King
He was preceded by his mother, Alma Carlile.
Services were March 6, 2004 at New Hope Baptist Church in Bowie, Texas with burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Bowie,TX. Fry Funeral Home directed the services.
