Louis G. Gardiner, 87, Dies at Rockville Home
Louis G. Gardiner, 87, retired farmer and dairyman, died yesterday at his home in Rockville after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County.
Survivors include his widow, three sons, George L. Gardiner, Clarksville, Md.; James C. Gardiner, 925 Massachusetts avenue N.W., Washington, and Paul F. Gardiner of Alexandria; four daughters, Mrs. Edmonia Hewitt, Alexandria; Mrs. Marie A. Buttell, New York; Sister Mary Martha, Port Richmond, Va., and Mrs. George R. Archibald, Oakland, Calif; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at St. Mary's Church, Rockville. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Barnesville.
