Clayton Gerald "Jerry" Cook, age 60 of West Monroe, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019.
Mr. Cook was a former minister of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Winnfield and the Carpenter’s Local #60 Union. He and his wife were owner’s of Cook’s Interior and Design/Insulation.
Born Monday, February 2, 1959 in Shreveport, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie Sue Howard Cook and Clayton Gerald Cook, Sr.; son, Jonathon Cook; and brother, Rickey Dan Cook.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Jan DeVille-Cook; children, Ashley Jennings, Amber Cook, Drevan Holland-Cook, and Trenton Cook; step children, Brie Stephens and Cody DeVille (M.J.); grandchildren, Ava Grace DeVille, Tristan Cade Jordan, Peyton Moore, Chris Moore, Hunter Moore, Trinity Parker, Gage Biggs, Brianna Cook, and Dagan Lambert; great grandchildren, Peter Parker and Aurora Parker; siblings, Judalon Duncan, Jerry Steven Cook, David Ray Cook, Hiram Cook (Lynell), George Cook (Dee), Crystal Procell (Junior), Sherry Ramirez (Elvis), and Sonya Cook; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 6, 2019, at Southern Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Southern Funeral Home, from 8:00 AM until time of services.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Carpenter officiating.
Interment will follow in Cypress Creek Cemetery, in Dodson.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Chris Thomas, John Thomas, Clay Howard, Joe Chicearailo, Tim Zimmerman, and Adam Cook.
