Orbin Sylvester Loggins age 93 of Birmingham, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Velma Cain Loggins; sons, Dale Allan Loggins (Linda), Dennis Earl Loggins (Patricia) and William Orbin Loggins (Melinda); daughters, Jennifer Cathleen Statham (Herbert) and Lisa Janean Dodson (Ronald); sisters, Vivian Henson, Linda Love and Barbara Stanford; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Orbin served in the U. S. Army during WWII in the European Theater. He retired after over 30 years as a Truck Driver and served as a deacon at First Baptist Church of Chalkville. His family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11-1 at First Baptist Church of Chalkville with his service beginning at 1:00. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Locust Fork. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Chalkville for the playground.
