Born August 4, 1942, graduated from Bossier High school, Class of 1960. Always a loving mother, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Judy was a devoted follower of Jesus and actively contributed to ministries that furthered the Gospel of Christ. As an RN graduate of Northwestern State University’s School of Nursing, her calm, steady demeanor and gentle ways soothed countless patients and trained many young nurses in the home health care industry.
Left to tell her stories and share her memories are her children, Scott McCarty of Escondido, CA; Casey McCarty of Bossier City, LA and Melissa Wieczorek (Ben) of Seattle, WA; beloved grandchildren Judah, Cayden and Maxwell; mother Ina Faye Hall; sister Betty Hall Duschel; niece Amy Barclay (Darren, Taylor and Reagan) and nephews Rick Shankle (Missy and Cole) and David Duschel (Jana and Blake); and a multitude of friends around the world.
A private memorial service for the family will be held Dec. 7. For those who would like to honor Judy, please consider a donation to Wycliffe Ministries in the name of James and Stephanie Ernendes or to From His Heart Ministries.
