Sheila Ann Scott, 61 of Baxter, died Monday, December 2, 2019 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

She was born October 23, 1958 in Natchez, Mississippi to Virginia Ruth Maddux Leftwich Carr of Baxter and the late James Lewis Leftwich.

She was a former owner of L & J Market in Baxter.

She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors in addition to her mother include Partner Freddie Judd of Baxter, daughter and son-in-law Jamie and Kent Ashburn of Cookeville, son and daughter-in-law Joshua and McKaya Scott of Sparta, sister and brother-in-law Karen and Ricky Thurman of Baxter, step-father Randy Carr of Baxter, grandchildren: Blake, Nea, Avaree Ashburn, Paislee Rittenberry, McKinslee and Lain Scott, Freddie's daughters Sheila Yates, Cindy Johnson, Brenda Hamby, Linda Judd and Penny Maxwell.

Memorial service for Sheila Ann Scott will be Sunday, December 8 at 3 pm from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Bro. Wayne Redmon will officiate.
