Donna Mae Gentry born Jan. 5, 1933 in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, daughter of William R. and Ida G. Wohlers, died at the age of 86 on Sunday Dec. 1, 2019 at OSF St Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL.
Donna lived in Franklin Grove with her son, Scott (Cheryl) and their family and was formerly of Glendale Heights. Donna was an accountant for Myercord in Carol Stream for over 30 years and in retirement she worked at Walmart in Plano. Donna was an avid sports fan and loved spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed going out to eat and shopping with her granddaughter, Shawna, who also served as a caretaker for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Donna is survived by her brother, Mert (Theresa) Wohlers; her son, Scott (Cheryl) Gentry; her daughter, Cyndy Wollenweber; 6 grandchildren; 5 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
At Donna's request she will be cremated.
