Cynthia Yocum Perry, 69, of Jamestown, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, in the UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, Pa.
A lifelong area resident, she was born Jan. 21, 1950, in Jamestown, N.Y., a daughter of the late Edward S. Visosky and the late Mary Jane Close Shute.

She was a graduate of Jamestown High School and growing up was raised Catholic attending Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
Before her retirement, she had worked with her brother, Gary as a hostess for the Belle-View East Restaurant and in earlier years, had worked for the former Fenton Park Nursing Home.
She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who loved camping at Hidden Valley Campground, playing bingo and taking care of her dogs.
Surviving are her husband, Kevin W. Perry; her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas (Christine) Yocum of Jamestown; two grandchildren: Tyler Yocum of Whitney Point, N.Y., and Zachary Panebianco of Jamestown; two stepchildren: Kevin (Alaina) Perry of Ripley, N.Y., and Amber Perry of Falconer, N.Y.; three step- grandchildren: Jonathan Lewis and Elizabeth Lewis, both of Falconer, and Mallory Gorniak of North East, Pa.; and two brothers; Gary Visosky and Dennis Visosky, both of Jamestown.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jane Shute, who died Jan. 23, 2008; her father, Edward, who died May 7, 1986; a son, Timothy D. “Yokes” Yocum, who died July 16, 2018; and a brother, John Visosky.
