Charles R. “Pap” Dennis, age 81, of Wickliffe, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Charles was born in Wickliffe on April 20, 1938 to the late Colonel and Ora Mae Tharp Dennis. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Charles worked as an iron worker and was a member The Iron Workers Local 782 Paducah Union.
Charles is survived by two sisters, Peggy Sue Nichols of West Paducah and Kay Elizabeth Alvey of Bandana, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruanna “Patsy” Dixon Dennis; one brother, Jimmy Dennis and his parents.
A Graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Bethlehem Cemetery in Wickliffe with Rev. Dee Hazelwood officiating. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe is in charge of arrangements.
