Joseph Adrian Albert
Joseph A. Albert, 80, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Rolling Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center in Bridgeport, OH.
Joseph was born on January 7, 1939, the son of Joseph and Martha Shafer Albert .
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Ellen and was a Catholic by faith. Joseph was the assistant fire chief at the Wheeling Fire Department for the majority of his career.
His is survived by his brother, Mike (Laura Lee) Albert and sister, Jo Ann Gatti, as well as his children, Wendy (Dave) Anderson, Mark DeLaurie, Mike Trummel, Tom Albert and Lisa Albert. Joseph also has eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren that will miss him dearly.
Joseph’s family will celebrate the long, full life he lived on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Mozart Volunteer Fire Department, 25 S Frazier Ave., Wheeling, West Virginia (Mozart). There will not be a formal service, so join the family in celebrating his life between the hours of 2 pm and 4 pm.
