Ronnie Lee McDaniel, 67, of Mountain View Arkansasassed away December 2, 2019 in Batesville, Arkansas.

He was born March 24, 1952 in Calico Rock, Arkansas to Alton McDaniel and Bernice Depew-Day.

Ronnie joined the army after graduating high school in Eufaula, Oklahoma in 1970. He served in Korea where he met his wife, Jay Kay "Susie". The two were united in marriage July 31, 1972. Of this union they had two sons, Steven J. McDaniel and Johnny Lee McDaniel.

Aside from his service in the army, Ronnie was a school bus driver, a carpenter, and a butcher. He also enjoyed preaching the gospel. He devoted a lot of time to the jail ministries. Of all the titles he held being a father and husband were his favorite.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Alton McDaniel and Bernice (Depew) and Bill Day, his loving wife Susie McDaniel, brothers Jimmy Darrel McDaniel, Arnold McDaniel, Billy Don Day, Lonnie Joe Day, and one sister Inas Day.

He is survived by his sons Steven J. McDaniel and Johnny Lee McDaniel both of Mountain View. Brothers Henry (Ruth) Day of Oklahoma, Chuck (Jeannie) Day of Georgia, Bobby (Lisa) Day of Mountain View, Danny Carl Day of Batesville. Sisters Roberta Gail (Henry) Kelley of Hot Springs, Mary Ginn of Mountain View, and Janie Mingues of Heber Springs.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 1:00 at Fox Cemetery in Fox, Arkansas with Bro. Jerry Cary officiating.

Pallbearers are Steve McDaniel, Johnny McDaniel, Bobby Day, Jerry Cary, Chris Day and Keith Morgan.
