SAMUEL M. LESLIE DIES
Formerly in Business at Enon, Mo.
He Later Moved to Kansas City
Samuel M. Leslie, son of J. P. and Isabelle Leslie, born in Cole county, Mo., January 21, 1874, passed away at this home, 528 North White, Kansas City, Mo., 1:00 a.m. June 7, 1934.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia Musick Leslie, and one son, W. E. Leslie, 411 South South Drury, Kansas City, Mo., and two daughters, Misses Marie and Edith Leslie, of the home address. There are four brothers, W. H. Leslie, Sedalia; Joe and John Leslie, Russellville, Mo.; Dr. G. A. Leslie, McDonald Kansas; and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Wiser, Olean, Mo. His father and mother and eight brothers and sisters have preceded him in death.

In 1905 he was married to Rosetta Matheis and to this union the children were born. She and an infant son preceded him in death.

Feb. 10, 1918, he was married to Georgia Musick.

Mr. Leslie professed his faith in Christ early in life and joined the Enon Baptist Church. He was postmaster and merchant in Enon, Mo., for 17 years. Later he moved to Independence, Mo., where he was engaged in the grocery business. For the past six years of his life he lived in Kansas City, Mo. At the time of his death he was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church of Kansas City and the Independence I. O. O. F.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. N. E. Williams at the Enon Baptist Church June 8, at 11:00 A. M. Burial was made at Enloe Cemetery near Russellville, Mo.
